Smart phones get bigger and bigGER and BIGGER!

At what size does portable and mobile revert to desktop and stationary?  Will this fit in your pants pocket or do you need a murse (man-purse) to carry this ?

I think the days of a "pocketable" phone are actually slowly diminishing. Even iphones are not in pockets most of the time, take note of how many people immediately remove it from their pockets as soon as they site down, whether it be at a dinner table, or on their desk at work. Likely due to fear it will slip out while sitting, but also, I believe because it's uncomfortable.

The size of the note is great for someone who wants a somewhat pocketable device that doubles as an e-reader, and note taking alternative. Also most females I know that have smart phones don't even bother putting them in pockets at all, but they almost always have it in a purse or handbag. In this case the size almost doesn't matter, so long as it fits in whatever bag they have.
iPhone and typical android screens definitely feel too small, and the preciseness of a stylus for notes vs on screen keyboard is probably a world of difference.
Also of the list of cons on that site, 2 were size, and the second one was a problem you would have with any new phone coming out.
It's interesting, as I've definitely seen a lot of people very interested in this "phone". Personally I'd rather just have a smaller phone and a 10" tablet laying around for when I want a big screen. Somewhere in the middle just doesn't really seem cut it. Too big to be comfortable, as well as just looking odd talking on it, and too small to get the real benefits of a tablet.

Tyler I agree about the smaller phone and a larger tablet screen. This I find odd to go back to a stylus or a pen as they call it. I can't actually imagine this because it is an awkward size and it's not in a case yet. Somewhere along the lines form and function principles were lost.

I have the Galaxy Note and its great.
Its large bright screen is very fast and is a treat to use when typing
, it has a very good speaker phone built in.
The news apps along with utube etc are a dream as is watching videos,
you can stream music and video to your Note from other allshare hardware - Hard Drives.
I stream videos and photos taken on my Note direct to my Sammy TV in HD.
So the phone is part of a top notch media
